William D. Meanor

William D. Meanor of the North Side of Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the age of 80.  He was the son of the late Walter and Hazel (Buxton) Meanor.  Bill grew up on the North Side where he lived his entire life.  He received a degree in Finance and held several jobs in the waste management industry, finally retiring after many years of employment from Suburban Landscape & Floral in Coraopolis.  Bill was preceded in death by his wife Peggy.  He is survived by his son, Bill and wife Mae, grandchildren, Richard, Alesha and Ashley; his son Ken and wife Julia, grandchildren, Alyssa, Amanda and Amber; his son David and wife Brenda, grandchildren, Marranda, Brittney and Kaylee; late son Dewey, grandchildren, Courtney and Avery; daughter Rose and husband Joseph Dimirack, grandchildren, Matthew, Holly Boggs and Benjamin; daughter Luann Yetsick, grandchildren, Alexandra Chester and Amanda Schuler; brother of Donna, Chuck and the late Pete, Shirley, Ruth, Wallace, Jimmy, Bob, Buddy, Margie, Tom and Goldie; also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 4-8 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10 AM followed by interment in North Side Catholic Cemetery/ Christ the Redeemer Cemetery.
