Theresa (Schipani) DeRusso

Theresa (Schipani) DeRusso, age 104 of Coraopolis, passed away on January 26, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, former Coraopolis Mayor, Dominic DeRusso, her daughter Donna Gorsuch, her grandchildren, Brian DeRusso and Donna DeRusso.  Theresa is survived by her children, Dominic DeRusso Jr., Maureen (Steve) Zajacs, Joanne Schulenburg, Frank (Barbara) DeRusso, and Alan DeRusso; her grandchildren; Joanne (Mike) Jeffers, Steve (Suzy) Schulenburg, Theresa (Mike) Boltey, Nicholas (Sara) DeRusso, Samantha DeRusso and Tyler, Dianne (Scott) Calloway, and her great grandchildren; Madison Schulenburg, Connor Boltey, Kaitlyn Boltey, Matthew (Allison) Lacenere, Michael (Rachel) Lacenere and her great-great grandchild; Lily Lacenere.

Family and friends will be welcomed in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave, Coraopolis, on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  A Prayer Service will take place in the funeral home on Monday at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
