Robert G. Pendel

Robert G. Pendel, of Moon Township, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the age of 87.  He was the beloved husband of Antalene Pendel; son of the late John and Margaret Yursack Pendel; loving father of Robert J. Pendel ( wife Marilyn ) and Janet Renee' Comer ( husband Brian ); loving grandfather of Melynda Ertzinger, Robert J. Pendel Jr., Alytsa Mefford, Nicholas Pendel, Brian Comer, and Michael Comer; brother of Dorothea Metelsky ( late husband George ) and the late John Pendel ( late wife Anita ).

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired airline mechanic for USAirways.  He was also a member of the GBU for over 35 years, as well as a past Pittsburgh district president.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 9 AM - 12 Noon in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th., Coraopolis.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 PM in St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon Township, PA.  Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
