Paul "Bud" Musgrave

Paul Raymond (Bud) Musgrave, Jr., formerly of Coraopolis, died peacefully after a long illness on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the age of 89.

Bud was born in Coraopolis on May 30, 1935, to Paul R. and Alma, and was a lifelong resident of the area.  He graduated from Moon High School, following which he served in the United States Army.  He was a long time Moon Township Police Officer.  Upon his retirement from the police force, he continued to work for various funeral homes in the area.

He is survived by his three children, Marybeth Vavithes of New Wilmington, PA, James Musgrave (James Palmiero) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Peggy Gallagher (Kevin) of Hopewell, PA, as well as two grandchildren, Jessica Marett (Craig) and Mark Vavithes (Abby), and two great-grandchildren, Lena Marett and Elliot Vavithes.

He is also survived by his wife, Patty O’Neill of Sewickley, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, June Kopp.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1PM - 3PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis.  A Funeral Service will begin immediately after the visitation at 3:00 PM in the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
