Nancy F. Honhold

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Ford Honhold, our devoted and loving mother, on July 27, 2022 at 92 years old. She died peacefully at Allegheny General Hospital Hospice Pittsburgh, PA. Nancy was born November 14,1929 in Sewickley and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, John Edward Honhold. She was the mother of Richard Honhold (Mary), David Honhold (Tina), Barbara Pifer (Al) and the late Robert Honhold. Nancy was the proud grandmother of Brian Honhold, Michael Honhold, Jeremy Honhold (Colleen), Joshua Honhold (Chelsey), Gregory Omlor and Sarah Honhold. She was the honored Great-Grandmother of Mia Honhold, Caleb Honhold, Adelina Honhold and Gideon Honhold.

Nancy lived a full life and enjoyed fishing in Florida, was an amazing cook, talented painter and in her younger days, dancing with her husband. A farm girl at heart, gardening and canning were also a passion of hers. She adored her family and taught them all that she knew. She will be deeply missed and forever in all of our hearts. We would like to thank the staff of both Mt. Assisi Place-Antonio Hall and the hospice and 9th floor nursing staff at AGH who went out of their way to give our mother phenomenal care.
