Mary-Dorothy Winslow, née Corvington, was born September 24, 1931 in Akron, OH. She was the youngest of 4 children of Oscar Henri Corvington and Emma (Birnbaumer) Corvington.
She died April 17, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA at the age of 93.
Mary-Dot moved to Pittsburgh to attend college, first Seton Hill College then Duquesne University, where she met her future husband, Thomas Winslow. Together they had 7 children: Marie-Elaine (Bruce Fawcett). Stephen (Lori), Cecile (William), Jonathan (Adrienne) and Valerie (Tom Jesick). She was predeceased by her parents, 3 siblings, son, Christopher, son, Matthew (Karen), and Tom, father of her children. She is also survived by her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mary-Dot lived in memory care for years, and the family is also grateful to her many caregivers at John Kane Regional Center/Scott Twp.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19th at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis. The family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 AM in the church. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
