Marie (Taranto) Cersosimo

Marie Taranto Cersosimo, of Kennedy/Stowe Township, born on October 2, 1929, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the age of 92.  Marie was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Panna Taranto; loving wife of the late Lawrence Cersosimo; sister of Anthony Taranto (wife Kathy Palmer Taranto), the late James Taranto (late wife Karen Taranto), and the late Lucy Taranto-Parent (late husband Emil Parent); loving mother of Linda Cersosimo Faloshey (husband Joe Faloshey), Elizabeth Cersosimo Matergia (husband David Matergia) and Loretta Cersosimo Condeluci (husband Frank Condeluci); beloved grandmother of Wayne Roberts (wife Dina Crimone Roberts), Gina Matergia Pravlochak (husband Michael Pravlochak), Angela Matergia Wuenschell (husband Richard Wuenschell), the late Allyson Roberts Gurtner (late husband Keith Gurtner), Elizabeth Condeluci Cessna (husband Shawn Cessna), Natalie Condeluci Mahoney (husband Daniel Mahoney), and Nicole Condeluci Krivanek (husband Jeremy Krivanek); beloved great-grandmother of Alex, Isabella, Jaco, Julia, Ricky, David, Mia, Eva, Ben, Sophia, Franco, Lorenzo and Leo; also survived by countless nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be welcomed in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway, Stowe/Kennedy Twp. on Friday from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  Prayers in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, St. Malachy Church (Archangel Gabriel Parish) Kennedy Township at 10 am.  Interment to follow, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kennedy Township.
