Maria was married in 1959 in Monopoli Italy, traveling to America to live in Coraopolis with her husband. She learned English by shopping with family. Maria has always been a mover, and worker. Many remember her in the deli at the Kennedy Shop 'n Save. She did not like to sit still and greatly enjoyed baking and cooking original recipes for her family. She always had a freezer full of treats ready for company. She enjoyed tending to her large vegetable garden and her beautiful flowers. She loved animals and enjoyed her companion pup Eva who insisted on walking around the neighborhood daily. Maria loved going shopping and was known for her sharp sense of style. She enjoyed eating out with family and friends as well as finding her luck at the casino and with the lottery.
Maria will be missed by many; her astute observations and wise advice is irreplaceable.
