Lorenzo "Larry" Tabella

Lorenzo "Larry" Tabella of Stowe Township, where he was born and raised, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 85.  Larry was the beloved husband of Sally Tabella; son of the late Gaetano and Emilia Tabella; loving father of Larry Tabella; uncle of Linda (Louis) Campisi, Dan Tabella; David Morelli and Derek Tabella; cousin of Bena DiDonato; and godfather of Kimberly Danik.  Larry is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and many friends who will miss him greatly.  

Larry was a graduate of Stowe High School, Class of 1954 and was employed at Joseph Horne Co. from 1954 until its closing in 1996.  He served in the US Army from 1959 until 1961 and then served six years in the Air National Guard.  Larry had been a lifelong Roman Catholic and a member of The Holy Name Society.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Friday from 12pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway, Kennedy-Stowe Township.  A Prayer Service will take place on Saturday at 9am in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, Society of Saint Pius X Church, 326 S. Main St., Pittsburgh, 15220. 

Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
