Lita Fuze (Gargaro), age 96, of Stowe Township, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 53 years to the late William Fuze. She is survived by her daughters, Coleen (Gary) Burchfield and Karen Andrasko, two grandchildren, Tara (Jimmy) Lang and Nikki Andrasko, three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Savannah and Cheyanne, and one step-grandchild, Gary R. (Brooke) of Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Mary and Angelo Gargaro of McKees Rocks. She is the last of six siblings, the late Anthony, Isadore, Vincent Gargaro, Dora Bartolotta and Bernadette Jaworowski.
In her 96 years of life, she was a very active person. She was drum majorette at Stowe High School and went on to work for 30 years at various jobs, including 20 years of federal government service, while raising a family. She was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to go dancing with her husband. For the past 2-1/2 years, she resided at the Heritage Valley Senior Living in Kennedy Township where she introduced bocce and poker to the residents, but most of all she loved her trips to the casino and gambling. Lita always put family and friends first. She lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed and remembered always in our hearts.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 2-7 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis.
