Leonard J. "Lenny" Cersosimo

Leonard J. "Lenny" Cersosimo, of Kennedy Township, formerly of Stowe Township, passed on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the age of 89.

He was the son of the late Leonardo and Michelina (Bruno) Cersosimo. Lenny was the beloved husband of 62 years to Mary (Pastin) Cersosimo; beloved father of Karen (Jim) Pekosky, Lori Sims and Len (Carol) Cersosimo; loving grandfather of Shawn (Tanya), Alicia (Nick), Mary Jane and Scott; great-grandfather of Gage; brother of Dominic Cersosimo and the late Joseph, Andrew, Antoniette, Angeline, Victoria, and Rocco; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lenny loved to play the accordion at family parties and on Italian Day in Kennywood Park. But most of all, he loved his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and all who took care of him these last three months.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway, Stowe Township/Kennedy Township. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Saturday at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St John of God Parish, The Church at St Mary;s.
