Kathleen Ann (Wilks) Monyak

Kathleen Ann Monyak, 71, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ann Wilks, as well as her loving husband, Robert “Bob”. She is survived by her children, Bryan (Megan) and Melissa and three grandchildren, Brayden, Jacob and Hailey.

A native of Ohio, Kathy moved to the Pittsburgh area in the late 70s to find work but shortly after found love. Kathy and Bob made a good life together and she was known as a devoted wife, mother and friend.  Kathy was a faithful member of St. Malachy Church and a dedicated employee of American Greetings for over 30 years. In her spare time she loved making crafts, baking and then sharing what she made with others.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Sunday, September 22nd from 2 PM to 7 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis.  A prayer service will take place on Monday morning at 9:45 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Malachy Church, Kennedy Township.  Interment on Friday, September 27th at 11 AM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
