June Gargaro Henry, just weeks shy of her 70th birthday, passed into the spiritual realm on Thursday April 11, 2024, after a lengthy and courageous struggle with COPD. June was always filled with laughter. She doted on her niece Brittany Papas (Tony) and their three daughters and showered everyone with affection and generosity. Her career was spent at David E. Williams Jr. High, effectively teaching reading to hundreds of children. In her youth, June was an accomplished dancer, lending her talents to many local community theaters. She loved her cats and sincerely cared for all animals. Her kind heart and radiant smile will be sorely missed.
Predeceased by her father Anthony Gargaro and her mother Mary (Rubino) Gargaro. She is survived by her brother Ken Gargaro (Jane) and sister Charmagne Bossola (Wayne), her aunt Lita (Gargaro) Fuze and a plethora of cousins, nieces and nephews, borne of a large extended Italian family.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Saturday, April 20th from 9 AM - 10:30 AM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis.
