John A. Caputo

John A. Caputo of Moon Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine Caputo and is  survived by the love of his life and partner for almost 30 years, Patty Tollis; father of Denise Burns; grandfather of Laura, Jacob, Grant and Ricco; brother of Rose Marie (late John) McDonnell and the late Ursula (late Nick) Patrock.  John is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

John was an avid golfer who was a member of Montour Heights Country Club for over 30 years and he was also a member of the Wolves Club.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and laugh with his friends and family.  John took great pride in his property, making sure his grass was green and cut to a "tee".  He lived in Coraopolis for most of his life and was an outstanding contractor, carpenter and machinist.  He also loved setting up the golf teams for his buddies at MHCC. 

Family and friends will be welcomed on Sunday from 1pm - 6pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis.  A Prayer Service will take place in the funeral home on Monday morning at 9:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Moon Township.  Interment to follow, Resurrection Cemetery.
