Joan E. Chamberlain

Joan Elizabeth LaMarca Chamberlain passed away at 97 years old on September 6, 2023. She was born in Coraopolis, Pa., on March 17, 1926 and was the daughter of Pasquale and Lena (Deramo) LaMarca. Joan enjoyed her family, watching older TV shows - especially “Monk” (which she would laugh hysterically over many times) and she was an avid reader until a few years ago and was doing jigsaw puzzles until a few days before she passed. 

She was predeceased by son, Michael Chamberlain, sisters, Kathryn Tesla and Norma Bullock, and brothers, Jack LaMarca and William P. LaMarca. She is survived by three children, Patricia Adams (Gary), Pamela Orisko (Darryl) and Clark Chamberlain (Peggy);  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Conan Chamberlain, Bobbie Tennant (Floyd), Lawrence Stroup (Brianna), Patrick Stroup (Jennie), Clark Chamberlain III (Heather), Aleisha Chamberlain (David), and ten great-grandchildren, Tara Gray (Bryan), Brittney & Shane Tennant, Elizabeth & Hazel Stroup, Jameson & Madigan Stroup, and Aiden, Jude & Scarlett Chamberlain. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. 

Per Joan's wishes there will not be a visitation or service. There will be a “celebration of life” picnic for the family next summer to honor her.
