Janet E. Payne went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 23, 2022. She is survived by her daughters, Rebekah Pickens of Coraopolis, and Jessica Crawford of Pittsburgh, her son, Doug Pickens of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her son-in-law David McCarriher of Ambridge, and she was preceded in death by her grandson, Seth Pickens, and her daughter Denise McCarriher.
Janet leaves behind ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters Linda Romasco (Mark), and Nancy Meadows, and her brother David Payne (Nancy), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
There are never enough words to express the impact that Janet had on the lives of her family and friends. She was a “Rock” to her children and their greatest support throughout their lives. Janet loved her BLACK N GOLD! She was always a Pittsburgh fan through and through. She was so loved and will be missed by many. As our hearts mourn her passing, we must all remember that she leaves a part of her in every life she touched. We must celebrate the life she lived, and celebrate her eternity with our God in Heaven.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Friday from 2-8 pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday morning at 10 am in the funeral home.
Interment is private.
