James Dean Davis, Sr.

James Dean Davis, Sr. (Jim), age 62, passed away on July 12, 2024, at his residence.  Jim was born on July 18, 1961 in Warren, Ohio.

Jim was a painter his entire life, something he became great at while working for different companies until he established James Davis, LLC with his eldest son.  Jim loved being outdoors fishing, cooking out, swimming, or simply enjoying the weather out on the porch.  He was proud to be living one day at a time on his recovery journey, which brought him joy in restoring his relationships with God and others, especially with the grandchildren he is survived by; Elijah (who was constantly asking "where's grandpa" whenever he left his side), and Elyanah Davis; Peyton, Averie, and Eric Wilson Jr.; Kadelynn Davis and Abril Quinn.  Jim is also survived by two children, James Davis Jr., (Aisa Cassandra) of Coraopolis, PA, and Cynthia Davis (Eric Wilson) of Warren, OH; and Cheryl (Davis) Buzuleciu, with whom he fathered his children; sisters Charlene Gould, Diana Davis, Kathleen (Frank) Gill, Darlene Broder, and Wendy Davis; nieces and nephews, Sheena (Jess) Finlaw, Shawn Delpozo, Noah Fassoulas, and many others.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel James Davis and Katherine Helen (Provnozac) Stith, as well as his beloved sons Christopher James Davis and Christopher Joseph Davis.
