Ida DeAmicis Stromei

Ida DeAmicis Stromei, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on June 23rd 2023. Ida loved her family, enjoyed gardening and cooking. She especially loved being together with her family. A deeply dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife, Ida always had a smile and welcomed everyone.

Ida was born in Castiglione a Casauria, Italy, she was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Filomena & Sabatino DeAmicis, her sisters, Maria Croce DeAmicis, Anna DeAmicis DiBattista, her husband Joseph A Stromei and her daughter Adelia Stromei Spaniol. She is survived by her daughter Lydia Stromei, son, Joseph Stromei (Gloria Rayman) grandchildren, Derrick Spaniol (Gretchen) and Kyle Spaniol (Samantha) great grandchildren, Giada, Francesca and Thomas, along with many nieces and nephews in USA and Italy.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Sunday from 6-8 PM and Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis PA 15108.  A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Coraopolis. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
