Helen (Bea Branchik) DiVecchio, age 90, of Stowe Township, passed away on January 6, 2021, the Feast of the Epiphany. She fought a valiant, albeit short, battle against the COVID-19 virus. Helen was born on May 30, 1930, in McKees Rocks, PA, to Michael and Anna Branchik, and along with her 3 brothers (Bill, Ed, and Joe) and sister (Liz), was raised in “The Bottoms” neighborhood. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Charles DiVecchio; sons Pat DiVecchio and Michael (Deb) DiVecchio; daughters Lisa DiVecchio and Beth (Michael) Berrigan; grandchildren Stephen (Lacey) Berrigan, Cara Berrigan, Luc DiVecchio, and great-granddaughter Judy Berrigan; sister-in-law Helen (DiVecchio) Vinci; and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 22, at St. Mary's Church, Arch Angel Gabriel Parish, McKees Rocks, PA. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
