Guy Fusco, Jr. Obituary

Guy Fusco Jr. passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Masonic Village in Sewickley.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Naves who passed in 2007.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, Guy Fusco Sr. and Julia Deramo Fusco, brother William, brother Raymond, and sister Irene Fusco DeWitt.

Guy was born and raised in Coraopolis and lived in the area for most of his 93 years. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he returned home where he and brothers William and Raymond established Coraopolis Transfer and Storage Company, a moving and major steel hauling company at that time. Later he and brother William were co-owners of Towne Auto Parts in Bellevue PA until he retired.  An avid music fan of the “great American songbook“ and a huge Frank Sinatra fan, he had an extensive vinyl record and tape collection. He was a member of the North Hills Barbershop Harmony Line Chorus for many years, enjoying the camaraderie of the many friends he made there.  Most of all he enjoyed good Italian food and wine shared with his large extended family.

Guy is survived by his sister and her husband, Angela and Tom Nolfi of Moon Township, and many nieces and nephews. Service and burial at Coraopolis Cemetery were private. The family requests that donations be made to the ALS Chapter-South Carolina, or the National Kidney Foundation, both organizations to which Guy himself often contributed.
