Grace Lorraine Kocjan

Grace Lorraine Kocjan, age 89, of Coraopolis, passed away at West Hills Health and Rehab Center on Sunday, September 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Grace Cook; her husband, John "Big John"; and her dear son, John "Johnny" Kocjan; her brothers, Charles, Leonard and Carmen Cook; and her sisters, Jeannie Cook, Philomena Segeleon, Rose DiCicco, Prospero "Perky" Cronin, Mary Rotolo, Doris Presutti and Adel Butterini.  Grace is survived by her sister, Margaret Hanna; sister-in-law, Dorothea Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews with whom she had close relationships. 

While Grace was born and raised in Pittsburgh and spent her twilight years here, she left her heart in Hemet, California where she enjoyed her community of friends for fun, travel and support through difficult times.  We will remember Aunt Grace as a caregiver to many in our family and the ultimate woman of independent means who charmed us with her wit.

Friends will be received in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 Fourth Ave, Coraopolis on Monday from 10 am until 11am at which time a Blessing Service will begin at 11am.  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
