George Lucchino Obituary

George M. Lucchino, born December 16, 1945, adopted by his Italian grandparents and raised by his Aunt Annabelle, grew up in Greenfield, of Pittsburgh, PA. He spent 40 years with the love of his life, Anna K. Lucchino, and they were married for 29 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Rees and Casey and Stefan Colby, “the best son-in-law any man could ever have.” He was blessed with five grandchildren and was known as “Pap Pap.” After searching for his father his whole life, he finally met the other half of his family three years ago; the Waskowiaks treated him like gold. He felt so fortunate to meet them and be accepted by them. George was employed by Nabisco for 29 years as an Operating Engineer. A U.S. Air Force Veteran, George began his military career in the Army and transferred to the Air National Guard and retired with 29 years of service. George was a member of the Robinson Township, Washington County, planning commission for 11 years and went on to become a Supervisor for Robinson Township for 18 years. George died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home. The services will be held privately.
