Elva Marcocci of Coraopolis, peacefully passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 99. Elva was the daughter of the late Earl and Grace McCrackan; beloved wife of the late Jospeh Marcocci; loving mother of the late Donna Barna, JoAnn (Denis) Galterio, Tony (Joan) Marcocci, and Maria Reese; sister of Juanita Taylor, the late Clarence McCrackan, and the late Roberta Koch; loving grandmother of Jake Weber, Anna Marie Hubbert, Alisa Galterio, Michael Galterio, Richard Reese and Craig Reese; loving great-grandmother of Alivia Elphinstone, Jacob Elphinstone, Ava Galterio, Lucy Galterio, Isabella Galterio, Isaac Weber, and Hannah Weber.
Elva was a member of St. Joseph Church Christian Mothers, a US Army Veteran, a local beautician for many years and a member of the V.F.W. She also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis. A prayer service will take place on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church at the Towers, 160 N. Jamestown Rd., Moon Township, PA 15108.
