Dolores Spezialetti, 97, of Coraopolis, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, April 28, at Heritage Valley Hospital Sewickley.
The youngest daughter of the late Ilario and Consiglia (Coniglia) Spezialetti, Dolores was a lifelong resident of Coraopolis and recently, Hillview Home. She attended Coraopolis Schools and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. As a young woman she worked at the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company of Coraopolis.
She was preceded in death by her brother Louis Spezialetti (Candida Romito) and sisters Emily (Orazio) Lancione, Giselda (Paul) Lucci, Claudia (Leo) Grogan, and Olga (Michael) Catalucci.
A sweet and gentle aunt, Dolores was loved by her entire family, especially her nephew Raymond Lancione, his late wife Jesse (Giustini) and son Raymond Jr., with whom she lived for more than 20 years. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and their families, as well as her dear friends at Hillview Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 1, at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coraopolis. Everyone please meet in the church.
Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Moon Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to the Coraopolis Community Food Bank.
