Claudia J. Jacobs

Claudia J. Jacobs, aged 83, passed away on July 27, 2025, in Neville Island, PA.  Born on May 6, 1942, Claudia dedicated much of her life to her family and community.

Claudia spent her early education at Holy Ghost Academy in Northside of Pittsburgh.  She later worked as a sales counter person at Central Drug Store in the original Pittsburgh Airport before committing herself full-time as a housewife, nurturing and supporting her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael P. Jacobs Jr.; son, Michael P. Jacobs III and his partner John Suschak of Coraopolis Heights, PA; daughter, Pamela A. Jacobs Stewart and her husband Art of Freedom, PA; sister, Judy Williams and her husband Charles of Malta; brother Charles Guzelli and his wife Tayna of California; and sister-in-law, Barbara Chavez and her husband Dennis.  Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta and Joseph Guzelli; nephew, Christopher Guzelli; and her parents-in-law, Anne and Michael P. Jacobs Sr., along with several brothers-in-law.

Claudia was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Church in Coraopolis, PA.  Her personal interests included a love for old cars and the music of the oldies era, with a particular fondness for Elvis Presley.  Her favorite color was purple, which often reflected her vibrant personality and outlook on life.

Claudia’s family has chosen cremation and there will be no service.  She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her devotion to her family, her community, and her passions.
