Carmella P. Yaksick

Carmella P. Yaksick, of Moon Township, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the age of 78.

She was born on April 16, 1940 to the late Carmine and Rose (Polito) Passante. She was the beloved wife of the late George Yaksick; the beloved mother of George Yaksick, Jr. and Rev. Michael Yaksick; and the sister of Mary Parrish. She is also survived by nephews, John (Mary) Parrish, Jr., Gary (Rhonda) Milkovich, Nicholas (Janet) Milkovich and the late George Milkovich; neices, Patricia (Herman) Vermeulen and Shannon Collier; and niece-in-law, Linette Milkovich.

Carmella was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Moon Township. She was a loving and devoted homemaker and had a special devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-7 PM in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Avenue, Coraopolis.  PA 15108. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 AM in St Blaise Catholic Church, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland, PA 15059. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET IN CHURCH. Interment is private.
