Anna (Santilli) Volpe

Anna Santilli Volpe, age 87, of Coraopolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Anna was born July 24, 1934 in Pacentro, Italy, Province of L’Aquila. She was born to the late Crescenzo and Annarechilda Pachella. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Mariano Santilli and Antonio Santilli, her sister, Amelia LaLama, and nephew Chris Santilli. She is survived by her brother Ennio (Marianna) Santilli, her son Angelo (Sunday) Volpe, and grandchildren Nathaniel and Nina, as well as nieces and nephews.

Anna was a tough, hard-working, and very caring person. She attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Coraopolis. She was a homemaker, gardener, and loyal wife to the late Natale Volpe. Anna was a great friend to many and the most dedicated mother one could wish for. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and her family enjoyed it, too. She touched the lives of so many and will be missed dearly. Unconditional love, loyalty and dedication are the lessons she taught her loved ones which also define her legacy.

Family and friends will be welcomed on Friday from 2-7 pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 4th Ave., Coraopolis.  A Prayer Service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis, The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Interment will follow at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
