Sr. Mary Jude Halaszynski passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at the age of 74. She was a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township for 57 years. Sister was a native of McKeesport, PA and was the daughter of the late Josephine (Wisniewski) and Thomas Halaszynski. Sister Jude was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, William, Joseph, John, James, Thomas and Adam; and her sisters, Eleanor Metz and Mary Barnes. She is survived by her sister, Joan Burgos; her brothers, Dennis and Earl, along with more than 50 nieces and nephews and some 1,300 Felician Sisters worldwide.

Friends will be received in the Felician Sisters Central Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA, on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2-4 pm and  6-8 pm. A Sharing of Memories will be held at 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 10:30 am in the Convent Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor's choice
