Lucille May Kirk of Coraopolis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Born Lucille Potts on May 20, 1926, she was one of six children. She is survived by three siblings; Eunice and Betty Swoger of Coraopolis and Richard Potts of Maryland. Her sister Helen Thornburg of Michigan and brother Fred Potts of Ohio preceded her in death. Lucille was married for 57 years to John V. Kirk, who passed away in 2004, and is survived by her three daughters and their spouses; Mary and Gary Lively of Pen Argyl, Patricia and Wilbert Roncone of Coraopolis, and Virginia and Robert Love of Moon Township. Lucille was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren; Doug (Nicole) Roncone, Kelly (Paul) Zappas, Travis (Amy) Lively, Michelle (Larsen) Love, and Katherine (Adam) Shankle. She was also the proud great-grandmother of nine; Sophia and Ava Roncone, Alexis and Alaina Lively, Violet and Melanie Zappas, Everett and Eli Jones, and most recently, Lucille Shankle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lucille's name to St. John Specialty Care Center, 105 Burgess Dr., Zelienople, PA 16063. (Checks made payable to St. John.)
Family and friends will be welcomed on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1316 Fourth Ave., Coraopolis. A blessing service will be held at 10 am on Monday in the funeral home followed by interment at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester.
