Diane Lynn (Knapp) Murrell, of Silver Springs, FL, formerly of Kennedy Township, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017.  She was the wife of 41 years to Robert E. Murrell; mother of David (Theresa) Murrell and the late Scott Gessner and Bryan Murrell;  grandmother of seven;  great-grandmother of one.

She received a BA in English Literature and a Teaching Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh.  She was also an avid Steelers fan.

A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 11 AM in the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, Moon Township. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
