Sr. Mary Pius Halicky passed on Monday, December 18, 2017, at the age of 80. She was a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township PA for 62 years.

Sr. Mary Pius was a native of Neffs, OH, and the daughter of the late Veronica (Kolenich) and Stepen Halicky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Stephen, John and Raymond; and her sisters, Mary, Margaret, Agnes, Betty, Catherine and Agnes. Sister Mary Pius is survived by nieces and nephews and some 1,300 Felician Sisters worldwide.

Friends will be received in the Felician Sisters Central Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA on Wednesday, December 20. 2017, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a Sharing of Memories at 7 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 10:30 am in the Convent Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
