Sr. Bernice Marie Fiedor

Sr. Bernice Marie Fiedor, a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township, for 65 years, passed on Friday, February 16, 2018, at the age of 83. 

Sister Bernice was a native of Mt. Pleasant, PA, and was the daughter of the late Frances (Szuba) and Matthew Fiedor. Sister was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Sr. Mary Euphrasia, CSSF, Victoria, and Angeline; and her brothers, Stanley and Joseph. She is survived by her sisters, Sophie Shutty of Mt. Pleasant, PA,and Alice Hostoffer of Ohio and a brother, Frank of North Carolina; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, Sister Bernice Marie leaves behind approximately 1,300 Felician Sisters worldwide. 

Friends will be received in St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA, 15601 on Monday, February 19, 2018, from 1-6 pm with a Memorial Mass at 7 pm. 

Family and friends will be received in the Felician Sisters Central Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a Sharing of Memories at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 10:30 am in the Convent Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor;s choice.
