Sister Barbara Marie (Szymkowiak) on Sunday, April 23, 2017, a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township, for 48 years at the age of 79.  Sister Barbara Marie was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and was the daughter of the late Ann (Kaczmarczyk) and Francis Szymkowiak.  Sister Barbara Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Suzanne Booritch; and her brother, Thomas.  Sister Barbara Marie is survived by her brother, William, of Florida; her aunts, Betty Hock and Patricia Sukits; and nephews, Jim and Michael Booritch.  In addition she leaves behind approximately 1300 Felician Sisters worldwide.  Friends will be received at the Felician Sisters Central Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA on Thursday, April 27, 2017, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a Sharing of Memories at 7 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 10:30AM.
